It's that time again. Lowcountry Indie Shorts is South Carolina's short film festival, presenting local, regional, national, and international shorts. This year's fest will take place at the Terrace Theater, and admission is $7 general admission and $5 for film society members for each block of films. Red Carpet members get free admission to the entire fest. Actual showtimes will be posted closer to the event date.

The Astounding Adventures of Victoria Vanderbelt - Ian Pugh - California - 04:27

Paul wakes up in significant discomfort. He talks with a couple friends, and learns some things. He has a pleasant time with a girl he knows, but then it stops being pleasant. Everyone does a lot of talking. Played at 2012 Charleston International Film Festival.

Heimkommen - Micah Magee - Germany - 23:00
When Robert's girlfriend dies in a car accident, he turns his grief against his younger sister Jo. Jo dives into a new hobby - ice hockey - where she gathers the strength to bring her brother back to the land of the living. Played at 2012 SXSW and four other international festivals.

Face - Grant Harding - Canada - 06:55
A man with no face decides to build one out of clay. Played at Ottawa's Chinatown Remixed Film Festival.

The Way the World Ends - Matthew B. Wolff - California - 14:44
A couple wakes up to discover that the natural world has receded, leaving nothing behind but the erased canvas of the earth, dotted only by sidewalks, billboards and roads. And yet, everyone else is continuing life as usual. How do they go on?. Played at 2012 New York Shorts Fest.
