The Greater Park Circle Film Society continues its semi-annual Lowcountry Indie Shorts event. This is one of the most attended events of the year, showcasing short films from the Southeast. This edition's theme is North vs South, presenting shorts from the Carolinas and Q&A with the filmmakers. Here is the lineup, with trailers:
El Caffinato (12 minutes, Rock Opera)

A hipster musical Western set in a contemporary coffee shop, El Caffinato tells the story of Milo Beckett, a lovesick loner who must lead the caffeine-buzzed regulars in a musical show down with an old-time foe, Dusky Dan Digby.
Gilded Age Gladiator (12 minutes, Animated Documentary)

Gilded Age Gladiator tells the story of 19th century prizefighter John L. Sullivan, the last heavyweight champion to fight under bare-knuckle rules.
